Nostalgia & History > Westbound via Tennessee PassDate: 01/15/22 23:01 Westbound via Tennessee Pass Author: jbwest Here are a few pix from the way back when machine. The first is a private photo stop at the Hanging Bridge....I was the only passenger west of Pueblo and the conductor asked me if I wanted to stop....1966. The next two pix were in 1990 and 1991, the first just west of Salida, the second entering the Tennessee Pass tunnel.

Date: 01/16/22 09:44 Re: Eastbound via Tennessee Pass Author: jbwest It ended at Salida. If I remember correctly (always a question these days) we had a sleeper off the DZ that we set out at Colorado Springs. Beyond there it was a single coach and a baggage car. I was really surprised when the conductor asked me if I wanted them to make the photo stop at hanging bridge. From Salida I apparently made a bus connection to Alamosa.
