Nostalgia & History > F-Unit Friday - Rock Island 675Date: 05/12/22 22:25 F-Unit Friday - Rock Island 675 Author: refarkas An unknown photographer using Agfachrome caught Rock Island 675 in an unknown location in October 1973. (Thanks to those who told me this was the "Rocket House" diesel shop in Chicago.)

Can't recall RI power with two digit numbers, especially in that era.

The 10 was one of 3 F7B's assigned to the La Fayette (Il) coal train out of Silvis. Whole consiist was 1331-10-12-13-1332. The 1331/32 were GP9's. zr190 |
