Date: 05/14/22 11:22 Re: FEC in the good days Author: refarkas An "A+" scene.

Excellent image !!!! Date: 05/14/22 17:49 Re: FEC in the good days Author: Lackawanna484 The FEC put many passenger units into freight service following the strike / violence / cessation of passenger service in 1963-1966.
Date: 05/14/22 20:05 Re: FEC in the good days Author: Atlpete Fantastic picture, I'm guessing the E units were getting dead headed south for an inspection (maybe?)
This scheme was largely extinct by the time of the strike anyway, though a few units still wore an abbreviated version with the yellow down to the chassis frame rail. Wow! Date: 05/15/22 12:16 Re: FEC in the good days Author: RailThunder What a great picture. To me this looks like a northbound interchange move to the Seaboard, Southern, and Atlantic Coast Line along with some local work from Bowden Yard that is bringing some FEC power to be set out at Jacksonville Union Terminal along the way.
