Nostalgia & History > 1974 and no sign of AmtrakDate: 09/22/22 06:00 1974 and no sign of Amtrak Author: bandob It is 1974 and there is no sign of Amtrak, at least not on this National Limited at Paradise, PA. Penn Cetral GG1, Baggage Car and 16 Duplex Roomette, 4 DBR sleeper with no visinble road name, and what may be a Southern Pacific 10-6 sleeper. Perhaps the diner and coaches were in Amtrak colors, but I do not remember.
