ICG train at Hattiesburg,Ms
Author: gcm

Nov 77
While Southern 4501 was being turned and serviced (on a New Orleans roundtrip), an ICG train snuck out of town.
Here it is crossing the Southern with GP8 7955 in the lead.
An earlier Illinois Central paint scheme on GP9 9372.
Loads of pulpwood and a surprised crewman in the caboose wonders what is going on !

Agreed fabulous! So many interesting details with these too. The Geep's, massive pup'wood flats, the ICC style caboose. WOW!

I like the huge variation in diameters of the pulpwood.

Very nice, I like 'em all! I am especially glad you got some great shots of the lone survivor in the classic black scheme. Would be a fun train to model with all the geeps and pulpwood flats.
