Nostalgia & History > Hagerstown Maryland Western Maryland Railway YardDate: 11/24/22 08:04 Hagerstown Maryland Western Maryland Railway Yard Author: ClubCar On the same day in February 1972 that the Reading 2102 operated from Baltimore to Hagerstown, Maryland, along with some of the passengers who rode the trip, they were treated to seeing these engines in the Western Maryland Railway Yard. Happy Thanksgiving one and all.

I do not know the answer but at any time I ever went to that yard one could find all kinds of locomotives from other railroads, especially Norfolk & Western Engines. They had a mechanical issue, and WM FA's became the helpers.
