Nostalgia & History > UP yellow & others @ Bailey Yard .. a look back to '76Date: 12/04/22 07:15 UP yellow & others @ Bailey Yard .. a look back to '76 Author: valmont Many years ago, when I'd make fairly regular trips from Colorado to North Platte, Bailey yard was a place of constant movement of motive power ... and lots of color with the influx of other RR's locos. Here's an example from 9/4/76 ... Armour Yellow is represented, but outnumbered ... however of the RR's in this shot only UP remains.
What's the mix of 'foreign' power like there these days? Date: 12/04/22 09:23 Re: UP yellow & others @ Bailey Yard .. a look back to '76 Author: FiveChime 8962 has an unusual Nathan M3 horn in that photo.
