Nostalgia & History > Many Rio Grande Units In Carlin, Nevada 9-10-1992Date: 01/28/23 01:55 Many Rio Grande Units In Carlin, Nevada 9-10-1992 Author: RailRat A re-post I think.
At the time this footage was Videoed, I Was experimenting with Video cam's contrast and Brightness settings (mostly in 2nd video) But More Importantly this is Now a "Once upon a time" capsule of a time when 3 Westbound Southern Pacific Coal Trains were Parked in Carlin, nevada for a while, when the Coal Hauling Buisness was Brisk for The good ol SP! I noticed this Rio Grande invasion going on for a few months in Carlin at the time, and decided I better record this before it was gone forever. In both videos I cut away briefly to record the passage of eastbound UP trains. Jim Baker Riverside, CA Edited 4 time(s). Last edit at 01/28/23 14:46 by RailRat.
