Many Rio Grande Units In Carlin, Nevada 9-10-1992

A re-post I think.
At the time this footage was Videoed, I Was experimenting with Video cam's contrast and Brightness settings (mostly in 2nd video) But More Importantly this is Now a "Once upon a time" capsule of a time when 3 Westbound Southern Pacific Coal Trains were Parked in Carlin, nevada for a while, when the Coal Hauling Buisness was Brisk for The good ol SP!

I noticed this Rio Grande invasion going on for a few months in Carlin at the time, and decided I better record this before it was gone forever. 

In both videos I cut away briefly to record the passage of eastbound UP trains.

UP got rid of those RG sd50-s within 10 years of the merger
