Nostalgia & History > MAC Monday.Date: 04/15/24 07:34 MAC Monday. Author: hank In the fall of 2002, three BNSF SD70MAC locomotives lead a southbound loaded coal train on Sterling hill near Willow Springs, Missouri on the BNSF Thayer North sub. First clip showing the head end and second clip showing two more SD70MAC units in distributed power mode on the rear end. Lots of dynamic brake will soon be used to hold the speed down as the train decends a grade with 135 cars of coal.
