Railfan Gaming > Pacific Surfliner RouteDate: 08/04/07 17:50 Pacific Surfliner Route Author: donniewebb Hi I'm fairly new to the Train Sim World and have taken an interest in the Amtrak routes and activities. I see from this forum that the company that sold this route is no longer in business. Is there any other on-line store or site that I might be able to find this route.
Thanks, Date: 08/04/07 20:32 Re: Pacific Surfliner Route Author: bnsfjth Nope, the route and company are long gone unless you find someone with a CD.
Date: 08/04/07 23:57 Re: Pacific Surfliner Route Author: CDTX Which constitues software piracy. you can say, "oh, but the comapny is out of business. Who will it hurt?" But remember, it hurts all who developed objects and equipment for the route and were either not paid in full, or not paid at all resulting in mass contract breeches. Also, the amtrak equipment released with said route, has been released by 3dtrains (the metrolink and amtrak content creators among other things for the route), screwing Marc Nelson, whos sole income is based on his sales from 3dtrains. try supporting a family when people pirate your products instead of buying them.

I was taking issue with CDTX's comments. How is one suppose to pay for a legit copy of a program when the vendor / author do not exsist anymore? Nothing personal, just saying... Richard |
