VIA #3 - aka The Grey Cup Train

1-3. At 11:15 this morning I caught it at Bathurst Street with 6425 leading.

I'm not sure who designed the graphics on this train, but I suspect they were tripping on acid. Talk about busy!!

4-5. Having reversed direction at Spadina Avenue, 6445 now leads the train to Barrie.

Three of the cars are clearly ex-CP/VIA Budd equipment - but two appear to be smoothsided and have an unusual ie probably not VIA window arrangement - does anyone know their ancestry?

Couldn't help noticing how the Strachan Avenue underpass is coming along - and how much that location has changed. Here's a shot in the same location, from 1981.

They are former UP American Car & Foundry Coaches. CP has some of these in their business train fleet, and some other photos show the ends of these cars painted Tuscan.....

ick. why didn't they just let turn them over to the graffiti taggers? Or perhaps they did.
