Canadian Railroads > West Coast Express SpecialDate: 12/15/12 19:13 West Coast Express Special Author: Train611 Hello Everyone,
On a wet, Saturday in Vancouver BC, I was driving downtown and spotted a parked West Coast Express train at Vancouver Station. This was one of two Saturday (Dec.8th and 15th) trips offered by West Coast Express. An unwrapped gift got the passengers a return trip from Mission to east and intermediate stops. My camera lens was a 10 - 22 mm, hence the leaning building views. 1. The head end - facing east - waits for a 1600 departure. 2. The back half of the train is beside the old CP Main Station office building. The pedestrian bridge leads to The Sea-bus - which goes to North Vancouver. 3. Blue flagged before departure, the lead unit will head east past the waiting containers and grain elevators to Mission BC. Thanks for looking. Have a great Holiday Season everyone! 611 |
