Canadian Railroads > BC HydroDate: 12/16/12 20:24 BC Hydro Author: Waybiller How about some BC Hydro in the new blue scheme? I'm glad Washington Corp uses the same blue, but I like the white and red stripes.
Date: 12/16/12 20:26 Re: BC Hydro Author: Waybiller The yellow and red looks nice too.
Also, when someone gets their time machine working, please go back and remind the younger me (say, anything prior to Dec. 2012) that trying to take backlit pictures is futile. I like the open top autoracks at Huntingdon though, so wanted to include number 3 Date: 12/16/12 20:48 Re: BC Hydro Author: JimBaker Wow!! A manual interlocker still in use.
Details please? Where and what crossing is this? Signal and derail protection? --Jim Baker, Whittier, CA member: Yahoo- alltimeinterlockihgtower group http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/Alltimeinterlockingtowerlist/ Date: 12/16/12 21:24 Re: BC Hydro Author: NDHolmes JimBaker Wrote:

Clayburn, BC - just north of Abbotsford. Former BC Hydro (now SRY) crossing the CP Huntingdon Branch down to the US border and a BNSF interchange. Signals are mechanically-driven semaphores using linkages running along the right of way, and no derails that I recall. Normally lined for the CP. Really a cool place to see how mechanical signals work and not hard to get to at all. I stumbled on it by accident while following an SRY train years ago. I posted some shots of this interlocking crossing taken Aug 17, 2012. The signals at the crossing were all bagged and out of use but the approach signal was still in use(?) at that time. Now the approach signals have been bagged as well and the dwarf signals on the SRY have been removed. What year were these taken?
