RailPower RP20BD in the Port of Montreal
Author: Mberry

Yesterday afternoon was a rare opportunity to easily shoot one of the Port of Montreal's switchers. POM 1002 (RailPower RP20BD) was in thd old port to participate in the Old Port Symphony, an annual event which involves boats, trains and church bells making a lot of noise.

For those interested in finding out more about the event, check out this link. A repeat performance takes place on March 8th at 1:30 PM. http://www.oldportofmontreal.com/harbour-symphonies-by-pointe-a-calliere2.html

An unusual Railpower variation: they did away with the short "nose" and replaced it with sandboxes and a center cab door. A couple years ago I saw one of these with a slug; how many does the Port own?
