Kamloops Image "Kollection..." (1)
Author: Train611

Hi out there...Happy 2 days after Canada Day and 1 day before - Independance Day - July 4th for our US friends.
Just wanted to pass along some images taken around Kamloops in the last couple of days.

1. RMR Train departs Kamloops around 0745 heading for Vancouver.

2. CP9367 East with an empty coal train crosses over at McCracken  - east of Kamloops

3. CP9731 waits in the Kamloops yard for call to work.

More to come...

RMR on the way to Kamloops today pulled a drawbar on doubletrack 2 cars from the headend on the Crew Car... The kicker was it was ont he east end, looks to be a later arrival into Kamloops?

What's the "story" of the pulled drawbar. Would think that is very unusual on that type of train.  Doug

I'm with Hoggerdoug--I can't say I've ever heard of a drawbar pullout on a passenger train! That had to either be some seriously bad train handling or a serious equipment failure!
