En route for Halifax
Author: Mberry

Following an overnight run from Toronto, CN 120 is seen leaving Taschereau Yard in Montreal this morning after working the yard. It will be in Halifax about 24 hours later, with CN 8806, CN 5778 & CN 2279 up front and CN 8950 mid-train. The second and third shots show the train about a mile further east, near Turcot West.

Love the pictures. So crisp.  The middle picture gains a lot of depth from the well cars sitting to the left

Great pictures.  Can't wait - I will be up there in a couple of weeks to do some railfanning and riding of the rails.

120 had a bit of trouble once they arrived in Halifax.  The first problem was that with all the snow we've had in the last week, there isn't much room in Rockingham Yard.  And the second was that once they had cut off the DPU, the crew discovered that the doors were locked from the inside (!), and the brakes were on.  A bit of head scratching and conversation with the diesel doctor ensued after that.
