Beautiful sunny day today. I got out of the office this morning for an hour and a half - no trains. $^&^&*^&*%&*(&*($^&*

Late in the day, heading out to the Seebe pit. An eastbound manifest calls a clear to medium to Gap West. The RTC then informs him to kick back, he'll be there for 2 and the 2nd one is 113 is at Cochrane.

Westbound grain 303 at Mile 59.0

466 axles / another one of those unusual 1+1+1

Then off to Seebe. It's getting cloudy and the sun is going down. more $^&^&^$%^&

113 had to get a 567.2 at the Ozada West switch - 1 restriction ... 25 mph

After 113 goes by, eastbound manifest 400 finally departs Gap East.

C31 - Copithorne Switcher has come off the long lead into Exshaw siding and will follow 400. "No work online" means the 9 empty tankers are all for Jumping Pounnd.

KH,
At least the scenery is spectacular.  I can remember sitting trackside up there on my trips cursing the lack of trains, the cold or the rain but then looking at the mountains and the trees and enjoying the view.
