It was demolished some time in the mid '80s, I think. I'm told that CN was taking them down all over the country after steam was replaced by diesels, but somebody was killed during one demolition, and that put a hold on it. I guess they figured there was no point in taking a risk to take them down unless there was a corresponding risk that they could fall down on their own or otherwise damage property or employees. Perhaps by the mid '80s, this one and others were starting to crumble. Interestingly, on the former BAR in Maine, the coaling towers at Oakfield and Millinocket remain, even though most (all?) other unused structures have been removed in recent years.
