It was nice and sunny this morning but by noon it was back to the winter gloom.

13:40 MT

Jump in the truck and hear, "8047 east has a clear to stop to Gap West". Hmmmmm another eastbound ahead of it at Gap?

The 8047 is leading a grain empties slowing to stop at Gap West

Yes there is another eastbound - a 200 stopped on the main at Gap East waiting for a westbound.

And the westbound is a 101 taking the siding

A few minutes for the switch to lock up and 200 gets to depart with the usual grain/tanker mix and some Edmonton-bound intermodal.

The mid-train remote is a smoker.

Well you know how cold it gets up there LOL!  You have got to have temperature controlled containers so the product doesn't freeze.
