It's a special kind of weekend I guess. The C35 brought a good size string of empty cement hoppers and empty tankers out to Gap. After a recrew they they tucked them into track #1. Edited 1 time(s). They take a diverging signal at Exshaw West and then will come back down the long lead to get into the yard.
C35 is told they're there for at least 113 (currently at Cochrane) and maybe 112 (meeting 113 at Gap). Lots of heads up is great. It's pulled into Gap siding (10,659') and is still sticking out the east end.
Eventually I do catch the scanner count for 113 at 65.6 = 506. Date: 03/17/19 16:13 Re: Laggan Sub - Mar 17 Author: KickingHorse Date: 03/17/19 16:17 Re: Laggan Sub - Mar 17 Author: KickingHorse Date: 03/17/19 16:24 Re: Laggan Sub - Mar 17 Author: KickingHorse 2+1+1
Not as many autoracks as 100 this morning. C35 will follow 112 out of Exshaw with a 3600' train - about half and half loaded hoppers and tankers. Great pics of those railcars with the track sections on them. Also any idea what those containers are on DTTX 743030? Also nice pics of those blue United Rentals containers. Tim mp35mountain Date: 03/17/19 18:04 Re: Laggan Sub - Mar 17 Author: KickingHorse mp35mountain Wrote:

If I zoom in on it, they look more like some specially constructed frame wrapped in white plastic. The signs have asian characters (don't ask which language) along with English. The signs appear to be CAUTION 買手難竹 NO OVERFILLING 難金戈月 TOP LOADING Date: 03/17/19 18:06 Re: Laggan Sub - Mar 17 Author: perklocal Nice ! Just like Poker, when it comes to SD40-2s, 3 of a kind always beat a pair !
