I have often wondered how much of difference in cost to lease all the RS-18s including the Tempo locomotives from CN rather than buying some. Also why did they buy 1 RS-10 and 2 E8s from CP Rail. Thanks for your great photo, I am sure the passengers are happy that VIA leased the 80 MPH geared RS-18s for their train.
