Canadian Railroads > BCR Snowy Switcher SaturdayDate: 09/07/19 20:00 BCR Snowy Switcher Saturday Author: TCnR Here's three switcher photos from a trip to the British Columbia Railway in the early 1980's, before Expo 86 anyways. This was around New Year's with the snow level down to the beaches that year.
#1 BCR 1001 and 1002 showing stripes and no stripes schemes switching North Vancouver yard underneath The First Narrows Bridge, aka the Lion's Gate bridge; #2 BCR 632 and slug S401 at North Van; #3BCR 632, slug S401 and BCR caboose 1866. This is also to say that I've added a British Columbia Railway section to my PBase Galleries. My travels to the BCR were only as far as Lilloett but I made the best of it. I'm often adding photos to existing galleries and have some CN and CP to add eventually. Take a look if you like: https://pbase.com/clivew/bc_railway Date: 09/07/19 20:29 Re: BCR Snowy Switcher Saturday Author: E25 "Cool" photos, Clive.
