Amtrak Heritage in Canada

Amtrak Phase I painted heritage unit #156 has been on Cascades trains 516/519 the last couple of days between Seattle and Vancouver BC. Seen at 11:33 on the CN New Westminster Sub at Rupert St Thursday November 28, 2019.

Nice photo. Great background. The approach to the Vancouver station seems quite slow when riding either Amtrak or VIA. I suppose it's all restricted speed?

I was on that train and it was a nice surprise to see the 156 as it came into Edmonds.
