While clearing out files, I came across this magazine with this most intriguing picture on the cover.  I am looking forward to Hoggerdoug telling us all the location and whether these are all of BC Rail's Budd cars.

I'm not Hoggerdoug, but . . . the bridge is at Mile 55.4 of the Squamish Subdivision, in Cheakamus Canyon.  And, no, those seven are not all of BC Rail's Budd cars -- there were 11 active cars on the roster at that time (plus an ex-VIA car in storage).

The roster had expanded to that size in 1990, and for a while it was common for eight-car trains to operate between North Vancouver and Lillooet. There were even two occasions during the Christmas 1990 season that 10 cars operated in one train, with seven continuing north after the split at Lillooet.
