Miserable Alberta-MLW Monday's-Twofer
Author: arwye

While CN's 3200 series MLW C424's were occasional visitors to Calder during the late 1960's, increasing deliveries of SD40's made it less so in the 1970's. Unless of course Canadian National was making a new locomotive delivery on behalf of the British Columbia Railway. So it was on November 11 1973, at North Edmonton where we observe Extra West 5170, with M630's 723-724 making a set-out before continuing their journey to the land of two tone green and dogwoods.
