Canadian Railroads > BCR 4649-a nice surprise!Date: 09/27/20 16:26 BCR 4649-a nice surprise! Author: Train611 Hello to all...
Out on a short drive today about 5 miles west of Kamloops BC on the CN Ashcroft Sub. I heard BCR4649 departing the yard, heading west.. I am located west of the HB Detector at MP4.9. The train had 4 units and 864 total axles. 1. BC Rail 4649 was leading...a nice surprise. 2. CN 5754 was the 2nd unit... 3. CN 5657 was the 2nd of the the two mid-train units, The third unit was CN 2267. And while that train was passing, CN112 East was passing on the other track...no images! Great to be out there! Thanks for looking. 611 Edited 2 time(s). Last edit at 09/28/20 08:03 by Train611. Date: 09/27/20 20:49 Re: A nice surprise! Author: upbuddyboy Thumbs up 👍

Doug Date: 09/28/20 19:41 Re: BCR 4649-a nice surprise! Author: BoostedFridge How long has CN been running loaded grain trains of this length/configuration in this area?

The power configuration is sometimes a function of where the train will be unloaded in the Vancouver terminals. Hope this helps. 611 |
