Canadian Railroads > It was a Grande dayDate: 02/24/21 09:23 It was a Grande day Author: hoggerdoug On this day 16 years ago D&RGW 5401 took a trip on BC Rail. The unit was working off some miles or horse power hours on CN. I never expected to see a unit such as this on BC Rail.
three images taken at Williams Lake BC as we were preparing to head south. Date: 02/24/21 09:27 Re: It was a Grande day Author: hoggerdoug one more image at Williams Lake and a couple of shots at Potter siding.
The 5401 had to say the least a "peculiar odor" in the cab, sort of something dead, something nasty and stale cigar smoke. Never did figure out what the smell was, not that I really wanted to know. thanks for looking Doug Date: 02/24/21 10:15 Re: It was a Grande day Author: upbuddyboy Wow amazing!!!
