Canadian Railroads > CP Business Train

Two weeks ago I missed out on the CP business train because I decided to change locations at the last minute.  Knowing it arrived in Toronto yesterday afternoon on its way back west, I was determined not to make the same mistake twice.  This time I picked a location I like just east of Yonge Street, set-up there around 8:30 this morning and waited.  Less than 90 minute later the business train showed up with FP9 1401 in the lead, the way it was meant to be.

Nice catch, interesting collection of equipment.
Nice little photo spot as well, good light, colorful background, but where is 'east of Yonge Street' near? I don't know Ontario very well but have been in the area.

Nice! I hope that eased the sting a bit. The diffuse sun, instead of clear sky, really helped you out on the morning shot of a WB. That's really nice, delicate lighting.

Location is about 1000 feet east of CP's old North Toronto station on Yonge Street in Toronto.  Google Maps coordinates are 43.682343, -79.388121.
