Canadian Railroads > Apple Blossom Time in Nova ScotiaDate: 05/19/22 16:33 Apple Blossom Time in Nova Scotia Author: cn6218 Seems there's Hank Snow song that could go along with this.
I haven't noticed any yet this year, but 10 years ago, the wild apple trees at Windsor Jct. were in bloom, as 513, the second gypsum train of the day, slipped onto the Bedford Sub from the Dartmouth at mile 15.6. The crew would head out to the mine, swap their empties for loads, return and spot them at the gypsum pier in Wrights Cove. If all went well, they could probably be done for the "day" by midnight.
