Does anyone know more? Slide Gary A Rich Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 11/24/24 18:08 by Fiftyfooter. CPKC grain trains are completely void of these cars nowadays and have been for a couple years at this point. I am less familiar with CN but to my knowledge, they still have some of these cars with CN reporting marks. Many of them have been sold off to various shortlines and leasing companies. Great Western Railway has a number of the Saskatchewan cars with GWRS reporting marks. Mobil Grain also has picked up a large number of them with MGLX reporting marks. CN and CPKC will move those GWRS and MGLX cars to ports on the west coast so still possible to see them but it’s certainly becoming harder and harder to see these cars nowadays.
