In and around Hamburg, Germany I saw a variety of mostly diesel switchers in 1972.
1: Class 211 at Hamburg-Altona
2: Switching at Hamburg-Altona
3: Class 260 in Hamburg

12 & 13: Class 094 steam switchers were still active in the yards of Hamburg

The two pictures are taken at the yard in Hamburg Tiefstack and show the V2.017 of the "Eisenbahn-Aktiengesellschaft Altona-Kaltenkirchen-Neumünster", short AKN.

The V 2.017 is one of a series of four MaK G 1100 BB delivered to AKN between 1970 and 1972. I was able to catch her sister, V 2.016, in 1983 at the same location, after it derailed.

While I can't help with the location, this picture shows a DR (Deutsche Reichsbahn) class 106 (former class V 60) locomotive.
