European Railroad Discussion > Some more from around EdinburghDate: 08/12/19 04:01 Some more from around Edinburgh Author: 86235 At Dalmeny to the west of Edinburgh on Saturday morning, a XC Voyager DEMU on what is the UK's longest individual train journey, the 08:20 Aberdeen to Penzance (arr 21:44).
After a pretty soggy Sunday, it rained virtually all day, Monday dawned bright and fresh. I cycled along the Union Canal to the aqueduct at Slateford, which overlooks the more recent railway viaduct. This is one of ScotRail's new Siemens- built class 380s, part of the ubiquitous Desiro family of multiple units And last but not least from this morning, the the ecs of Sunday night's London to Edinburgh Caledonian Sleeper being worked back to Polmadie depot for servicing. These are the new CAF built cars. Edited 2 time(s). Last edit at 08/14/19 04:21 by 86235. You must be a registered subscriber to watch videos. Join Today! The parapet of the bridge was very low, hence the chain link fence. I also took a shot over the fence too. Edited 2 time(s). Last edit at 08/12/19 22:35 by 86235.
