European Railroad Discussion > Zermatt or Lauterbrunnen first?

Since I am seing both, is that an advantage to seing either one first?

Only if you can accurately predict which one will be cloudy and which one will be clear on the days you plan to visit.  In my limited experience, that is not particularly likely.  We got lucky at Zermatt in 2008.  But Lauterbrunnen was socked in the following day. This photo was taken from the Gornergrat train.

That's hard to predict until closer! I do see the cable cars in Wengen start the 26th, so that would make me want to do Zermatt first... so I guess that part made up my mind lol.
