Spectacular Sand Patch Sunday
Author: cinder

Beautiful sky...20 trains in daylight...colorful lashups...I worshipped at the alter of Sand Patch!

Between 7am and noon on Sunday, 10 trains ran the grade. First photo is PO30 from the FO overlook near Glencoe, PA. The second picture is of Q640 pulling the grade at Foley. The third is Q368 at Mance led by BNSF611 (passing a stopped Q249). For Sand Patch Monday, please turn the page........

Cinder nice catch with the C30-7 on Q640.

Is the Maple Sugar Festival going on in Meyersdale this week? I might come up with the wife on Sunday.

Cinder we were farther down the grade toward Fairhope & Hyndman on Sunday. Checkout our report on the Railfan Report page. Definitely a great weekend.

You definitely worshipped at the alter of Sandpatch, because churches have altars.....
