Winona Junction, Wisc

I am writing a calendar photo caption and need a little history of Winona Junction, Wisc. From what I see on maps, etc., C&NW's Dakota line crossed the CB&Q at that location. I assume that C&NW's Dakota 400 used that line and that crossing. I see this portion of the ex-C&NW has been abandoned and that there is no crossing or Junction presently at Winona Junction. When did the C&NW abandon the crossing and its bridge across the Mississippi? Any other info would be helpful. Thanks!!

This may do better on the Western Board, or Nostalgia. There is also a Wisconsin Rails yahoo group. I have read about this several times but could not put fingers on info now.
