It would appear that Red Unit RBBB Circus Train may pass the Blue Unit RBBB Circus Train either TONIGHT or EARLY TOMORROW (pre-dawn??) in Worcester MA. HEADS UP on NS (CR) east of Selkirk NY for tracking the Red Unit's move, to time when they will roll through Worcester: Blue Unit is rolling today from Albany NY to Worcester MA (to play there this week), and Red Unit is rolling north from Philadelphia PA to Providence RI, via Worcester. This is a rare event in any given year, and IF the Red Unit's move takes place on the same line where Blue Unit is being SPOTTED UP LATER TODAY, those in Worcester may see a LOT of Circus people out and about to wave to each other (there are [Circus family-members and friends] on both shows, who sometimes move between either show for various work-related opportunities).

The questions would be:
(1) Has BLUE UNIT alread departed Albany as of this writing (11:25am, Monday), and how far has RED UNIT progressed so far today, from Philly?
(2) Where will the Blue Unit store in Worcester, and is that location along the route that the Red Unit will be rolling thru town overnight?

Coming into Meadows Yard, Kearny NJ about 9am Monday. Sounds like they will be watering the animals before departing up the River Line.

P91630 is now in Ewing, TWP Pa and will lay over in South Kearny for an hour.. This is the Red Unit. Leader is CSXT4715 and trailer is CSXT5010

Nope..

The Red unit is in Kearny, NJ as of now... The Blue unit is descending from the Berkshires... closing in to Springfield, MA so that means the Red unit will be a night train over the brutal Berkshire hills (still has almost 200 more miles to go...).

The Blue unit will lay over at CSXT Worcester yard for animals unloading.
The Red unit will be going to Worcester, interchange with P&W and P&W MFS-x will take the train to Providence, and lay them over at Amtrak's MOW yard..

UPDATE- The Red unit is already on the River Line.. Shes approching CP33 Haverstraw, NY now..

Blue unit arrived and terminated at Worcester, MA right now.. Red unit is in Alsen, NY CP106, Selkirk approach..

I don't have as good a memory as I would like, but I believe that the trains will pass within about a mile of each other, but will not per se meet.

Edit: Checked a milepost chart. If you have a really good lens and can manage to get a really good angle and take a picture at night, you could possibly get both in one frame at the same time. It would take a lot of luck, skill, and a pretty good knowledge of the area.
