Were all of the the CSX ES44DC's (5200's) that were delivered in primer already painted in YN3 colors before the 5300's started rolling out of the barn at Erie? I can't remember.

There might have been a short overlap of time when the first 5300's arrived in March of 2006, but I know a bunch of the primer units were painted in February 2006.

That's what I figured, maybe the first half dozen or so 5300's might have been just placed in service as they were being repainted. Works for me.
