To answer your question - FROM THE WESTERN RRs DISCUSSION BOARD, "blackcat..." posted this added message: BLUE UNIT - - New Orleans, LA to San Antonio, TX - - 29 June 2009 Last show: New Orleans Arena, 05:00 PM (CDT), 28 Jun 09, night time loadout. Projected Carrier: UP Currently the Projected Route - - - LA: New Orleans TX: Beaumont, Houston, San Antonio. No other data available at this time, 13:00 PM (EDT), 28 Jun 09. Note: The Circus Train is to run ahead of schedule if possible unless unforeseen events/operating problems dictate other policy. The Circus Train is unique in its cargo and equipment, thus routings, crew changes, time schedules for animal care stops and equipment inspections along the route are unpredictable. The Circus Trainmaster is responsible for the safe operation and timely movement of the train. Added Note: Huey P. Long Bridge is a favorite railfan location, and is the longest railroad bridge in the U.S. East entrance is Elmwood, LA West entrance is Bridge City, LA. Field reports needed on this run (jump). All for now. bcd9 |
