Don't know if this is news or not, but CSX had a genset unit parked in Demmler Yard near Mckeesport PA today. I saw it from the Duquesne Bridge and was with clients so I couldn't loop back to shoot it. First time I've seen one on CSX here in the area...

I think its been there for a couple months.

Could be Harry, I don't get down that way very often.

I've known about it being in Mc Keesport since January. It's a 3GS21B genset. Couple of guys at the model railroad club I belong to says it is not used all that much, however.

The genset unit has been there for a few months and is used when needed. Everytime im in there or by there on a road freight its been working. I believe it was over on the URR testing for a little or is supposed to be going there soon. RJ Corman had one of their railpower gensets on test with the URR at ET Works for a little while as well so there was a chance you may have been able to catch 2 different railroads gensets in Demmler yard at the same time. Have not seen it lately though.

I saw it working in the yard on Thursday.
