I can add a couple to your list for you from the Chessie. I have a photo on my Chessie website of B&O GP40 4045 in blue paint numbered as 9045 with the ATSF style "9". I also remember seeing chessie painted GP40 3787 with the ATSF style "3" applied after the lease was up, so that one must have been involved too. There's a photo of that renumbering and mention of the ATSF lease in the C&O Diesel book.

Also on my website I have photos of B&O GP40s 9702 and 9734, but you already have them on your list.

It would take days to find it but I caught a GP9 in fresh NW Black paint at Barstow during this era. Also we saw many SD45's in both blue and black running around southern California.

Although it didn't happen often, Santa Fe sure leased alot of oddball locomotives through the years what with the CN SD40's and the CNW SD45's.

A bunch of us caught a solid set of NW units on the SP way back in '78. they were in order from front to back:

GP9 / GP30 / RS11 / GP9

Now that was a strange sight.
