VRE Santa trains
Author: ddavies

I rode the first two Santa trains out of Manassas (VA) as Santa's photographer. :-)

As we pull past the Manassas station, RFE Brookshire ... I mean Santa ... waves to the crowd from an open door ... Santa has a door key. ;-)

Santa and Mrs. Claus had two adult helpers (ATM Mac Minn's wife and daughter) and for the 1030 train we had TM Krzycak's oldest two daughters. Which meant for the 1030 train, we had the NS RFE, TM and ATM aboard.

Great pics! I heard that the VRE Santa Trains sold out in 4 minutes this year. We rode the Hardy County/Potomac Eagle North Pole Express this year. My daughter (2 1/2) was afraid of Santa and hid under the table. Since the trains ran in the evening, many kids were wearing their PJs.

Well done series of pictures. Looks like you will be the permanent photographer for Santa : )
