Century 630 on the move...
Author: BentnoseWillie

CB&CNS 2029 (nee CN 2029), a C630M, was sitting in the CN-CBNS
yard in Truro, Nova Scotia, on Sautuday Aug 4th. It's been
restencilled IBCX on the long hood. "The boy" tells me that's
Indiana Boxcar Corp. Anybody know what her fate will be?

Hopefully, CNMark will have gotten pictures before it left Truro -
I saw it when I was 20 miles from my &%$! camera...

Didn't they just buy the three ex CALM C424's from Arkansas too?

I believe Indina Box Car is correct. I'm not sure where 2029 is headed, but I believe 2028 is headed to Connersville, IN for a cosmetic restoration at the former Indiana Hi-Rail

I even checked with "the Boy" to make sure the number was right.
It is in fact 2029. He pointed out that 2029 is in CBNS paint,
whereas 2028 is still in CN livery. Duh.

It's obviously going somewhere - it's been stencilled...

It's going to Scanton, PA, the Delaware-Lackawana, and with parts from 2028, it should run again. Let us know when it leaves Truro. I heard one report that it was still in Truro on Monday evening.

I'd love to watch for its departure, but I won't be in Truro
again till the weekend. I'll have "the Boy" watch it, though -
