Eastern Railroad Discussion > A fun afternoon with the Central of New JerseyDate: 04/18/13 16:42 A fun afternoon with the Central of New Jersey Author: erie833 Today's add on power for 64R turned out to be the NS 1071, the clean CNJ Heritage unit. With afternoon temps hitting 80 around here everyone who could get away was out. I got clouded out on my first location in Bedford, but managed to dodge the afternoon clouds for the remainder of the day. The consist was colorful, the 1071 and three BNSF units all in different paint variations. The short time crew would outlaw right at MP 104 on the Cleveland Line in Macedonia, Ohio allowing for some nice meet photos. Thanks to all who provided info on this train while I was out making NS some money :)
RAD Pulling down to add a rear buffer at Motor, passing Royal Chemical, a customer I've switched many times. Rounding the curve at MP 104. Where she stopped, a perfect location. Did the best I could post processing this one lol RAD Date: 04/18/13 17:55 Re: A fun afternoon with the Central of New Jersey Author: erie833 Roster grab of this clean unit. Even non railfans were stopping and snapping cellphone photos of this unit where the train sat for a while since it was in plain view of a busy road.
