FEBRUARY 24 RED UNIT Train-Run from Raleigh NC to Richmond VA. We presume the route will be ALL-NS via Durham, Greensboro, Lynchburg, Burkeville, Amelia.

2014 Red Unit Circus Train:
---60 Cars (39 conventional passenger-type cars; 21 TTX-[type] piggyback flats)
---4,370 Tons (when fully loaded)
---5,320 Feet (WITHOUT host RR's power attached; 1 mile = 5,280 feet)

RED UNIT -- 143rd Edition -- "BUILT TO AMAZE" -- now on the SECOND half of its 2-year tour.

Current RBBB rail-tour Edition Numbers for the two railroad shows, Red (and Blue), are measured from the show's first year, 1871. Train-run ["jump"] dates presume each train departs the morning [or day] after the closing performance date. RBBB Circus Trains can change scheduled routing and departure time without notice.

Meanwhile, the Blue Unit remains in Brooklyn, NY through Mar. 2, after which they have a scheduled Mar. 3 Train-Run to Uniondale, out on Long Island, where their coaches are said to be already located.

When the train departs Richmond for Charleston, SC, would that be via the CSX A-Line on March 3rd? I'd like to see it thru Rocky Mount, if possible.

They might take NS on that run, too, just like today -- since they'll be spotted up on NS in Richmond: RBBB dislikes having to pay $100 per car for interchange rates between carriers.
