A few days at the Bridgeview B&B

Every year, a big group of railfan-oriented family & friends converges on the Bridgeview B&B in Marysville, PA. Now that we all have kids, we don't get around quite as much, but staying at Keith's place always allows for a few neat trains and photo opportunities.

Friday, July 11
1. NS 11R with the Mozambique export GE's crosses the Rockville Bridge.
2. NS 13G west of Cove, with LV 8104
3. NS HO02 Steelton local returning to Enola

Sat July 12
4. NS 34A arriving Enola behind the pair of CN GE's jim6000loco shot earlier in the week
5. NS 64R at Enola with the MGA unit, and a couple of foamers in the foreground :)
6. NS 21M with an ACe Trio at Sherman's Creek

7. A Herzog train (928) as viewed from my primary perch while at the B&B
8. A double rainbow after a quick summer storm
9. NS 12R outbound with another pair of CN units. (Sunday 7/13)

Without duplicating any of Alex's shots, here are 3 of my own from the weekend:
1. One of the few remaining CP SD90MAC's spins on the wye as part of a light power move.
2. Early Saturday morning 30T (IIRC) rolls across a misty Rockville Bridge.
3. Saturday evening, after the drenching downpour moved out, the last rays of sun illuminate a perfectly matched string of doublestacks moving eastward across the arches of the bridge.

yes nice photos from both ... Mike the last photo of Rockville Bridge has excellent lighting ... i like the reflective light off the inside of the arches ... i'm trying to figure out why the one arch towards the middle isn't receiving the reflective light when all the other arches are ... it caught my eye taking my focus away the stacks

Bridgeview is a delightful base of operations for the area. With the radio support, etc you're well informed about what's moving, etc.
