CSX 701 in Fostoria, OH

It's about 30 minutes after sunrise, and Mr Sun is doing a good job of
illuminating the scene. The train is unremarkable, but the bouncing
leaves me a bit queasy each time I watch it. It's not like CSX is avoiding
doing track work: crews are all over the territory working on the
rails and roadbed. There's just so much to do, trains are constantly
running, and time for both needs to be portioned out.

I've had some bumpy rides out west at times. There have been instances where I've been amazed we didn't just pop off the track!
