Was all good until the green vest...
Author: Forever-Railfan-45

After work today while on the way home to try and intercept the NS 20R with MGA leading. No open door but a green safety vest in the door. Was not there while enroute to Bellevue but after crew change it was...

Either got wedged in the doorway as someone closed the door...or maybe it had gotten wet somehow and the crew was airdrying it...Dave W

Perhaps a retiring engineer or conductor just concluded their final trip. "The company can keep this!"

Boy Carl first wires and now vests it's looking like maybe you shouldn't go out for awhile...lol
again nice images though.......
think maybe a guy escaped and the vest got caught in the door like tear away jerseys in football?

Seriously? Tongue in cheek I hope dwi. Hasn't rained for days over here and I doubt he worked up a sweat getting on the train in Bellevue. If it "tore off" the guy was still going to need his green to exit the unit and wouldn't take a chance in losing it. Quit trying to make excuses for deliberate acts.
Now having said that, I remember crews stringing TP out the unit doors back in the 70s, so bored railroaders ain't noth'n new lol.

who cares about the green vest thing, it does not detract from the photo and the luck of the catch, get over it and move on.
