Eastern Railroad Discussion > UP 5594/Curry supplyDate: 11/10/14 17:43 UP 5594/Curry supply Author: NS19K UP 5594 was one of the loco's involved in the Sewickley, Pa wreck some months back. On another popular rail picture site there is a shot of it being transported by flat car to Curry Rail services in Pennsylvania. Does Curry do repair work, or are they in the scrapping business? Thanks

Chris Toth NSDash9.com Date: 11/10/14 18:43 Re: UP 5594/Curry supply Author: NS19K So 5594 is being repaired by them, not scrapped correct? On another note what about the NS 9939 from the Mer Rouge wreck?
Date: 11/10/14 23:22 Re: UP 5594/Curry supply Author: NSDash9 I have no idea what is going to happen with the UP 5594.
It will be a while before anything happens with NS 9939, as any legal actions regarding the wreck will need to be completed before the unit is rebuilt or scrapped. Chris Toth NSDash9.com |
