Eastern Railroad Discussion > It was a W&LE MorningDate: 11/14/14 09:19 It was a W&LE Morning Author: refarkas Although there were many clouds this morning (11/14/2014), thankfully the sun came out at the right time for three different W&LE trains.
Photo one: WE 6384 backs its train into Brewster Yard over the W&LE/RJ Corman diamond. Photo two: WE 6356 heads east through Navarre, Ohio. Photo three: WE 111 sits north of Navarre Road. Bob Date: 11/14/14 09:36 Re: It was a W&LE Morning Author: SDP40F600 Sun? What is that? Up here in Cleveland its been snowing all day. I've had to snowblow my driveway once already. Good old lake effect snow.
But nice photos Bob. Date: 11/14/14 10:48 Re: It was a W&LE Morning (but with an RJC train!) Author: Poker2662 Very nice pictures, but somehow I missed seeing you! I was just a little bit south of you taking pictures of RJC at the Route 62 crossing at about 10:30am. 6384 was building train 218, and they were backing up to let train 213 into the yard from the east, at about the same time RJC got to the Route 62 crossing outside of Brewster on the OHCR.

Thanks for adding your images. The RJ Corman image has a tree in the background with R J Corman "wannabe" color leaves. Bob Date: 11/14/14 14:38 Re: It was a W&LE Morning Author: Poker2662 I hope you don't mind if I post one more! You saw the 6384 switching in Brewster at around 10:30am this morning, and they didn't get out of the yard until about 3:45pm. It took them much longer than expected to build their 163 car train, along with problems building up air. They ended up needing to get another engine. Here they are in Bolivar at 4:25pm.
