Where are the animal cars, the performer cars, and the flat cars? The "Blue Unit" will leave Savannah Ga. soon for a month in Florida. Where will it stay?
Date: 12/02/02 15:04 Re: Circus Winter Quarters Author: railohio I think it was the RBBB Red Unit I saw in northwest Chicago this weekend. The cars were parked along the Metra Milwaukee-West line just east of the Bensenville Yard.

The four animal cars are parked under US301 overpass,just east of Uceta Yard.The flats are stored in the yard and the rest of the cars are downtown in the exSAL Tampa Yard. The "Blue Train" is do out of Savannah on 12-9 and should arrive Orlando same date,for a few weeks.The cars will be parked about a mile south of the passenger station. Uncle Joe |
